Virtual ADR - The MARS Virtual ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Conference seeks to emulate, as closely as possible, the traditional Mediation or Arbitration conference. It provides a real time video and audio environment to offer mediators, arbitrators, attorneys and other legal practitioners the opportunity carry on mediation and arbitration conferences using the latest state-of-the-art videoconferencing technology combined with our proprietary Case Management System. In this way we create a unique environment, very similar to traditional conferences, saving time, travel expenses and reducing costs, right from your desk, without having to leave your office.
An Online Dispute Resolution program provides merchants and consumers the opportuniity to resolve disputes, which may be caused by misunderstandings from online transactions. These programs offer the parties, access to a third party dispute resolution process, with an easy to use, inexpensive, automated, online web based program.
The MARS "Shop with Confidence" Seal (Trustmark) Program provides you with a Seal (Trustmark) symbol that will be displayed on your website, which provides you a way, if your internal customer service program fails to resolve a problem or dispute, to indicate to your customers or potential customers, that you agree in advance to take part in a third party dispute resolution process.

By displaying the MARS "Shop with Confidence" Seal (Trustmark), you let customers and prospective customers know that they can rely on your commitment to providing the highest level of Customer Service and Satisfaction.
You will increase sales and assure customer loyalty by providing your customers with the trust, security and confidence of knowing, in advance, that you will agree to participate in a third party dispute resolution process if for any reason a problem or dispute should arise.
By participating in this program you are agreeing to:
Abide by the suggest guidelines for Merchant-to-Consumer Transactions.
Provide business references and other information about your company, so that MARS can provide a Merchant Profile for consumers interested in doing business with you.
Participate in MARS "Shop with Confidence" Program, in your internal Customer Service program fails to resolve a problem or dispute with a customer.
Abide by the outcome of the case and make restitution to the customer for any monetary award, return of merchandise, service, or other restitution within 10 days of the award.
The Seal (Trustmark) symbol that will be displayed on your website allows consumers (by clicking on the symbol) to access a certificate which provides information about your company, provides information about the claim filing process and liads to a claim filing form.
Once a claim has been filed, you will be notified by e-mail with details of the claim and asked to respond. There will be three rounds of negotiation, via our exclusive secure web-based Case Management System on the MARS website. If, the claim is not resolved by this negotiation process, a Mediator / Arbitrator will be assigned to the case. There wil be two rounds of Mediation, again via the website. If the claim is not resolved at this point, a binding resolution to the claim will be handed down by the Mediator / Arbitrator.
